Just Enough Eaters: Summer Series Starts Today!
"If you find honey, eat just enough; too much of it and you will vomit."
Would you believe the above quote is actually a verse from the Bible?*
If you're like me, sometimes you find yourself at the end of a meal thinking, 'Oh, my word; I am so full. Why did I eat so much... again?' You meant to be careful but then it was too hard to turn down that extra piece of Naan bread or the 2nd (3rd?) S'more at the neighborhood campfire.
This summer, I'm inviting "Just Enough Eaters" (artists formally known as "skinny eaters") to share how they eat "just enough" and you have a front row seat to hear their stories. You'll learn how they pay attention to their hunger cues, find ways to not eat when you aren't physically hungry as well as gaining other insights and tips. In today's video, my co-worker Grace shares about bacon, peanut butter toast and Cheez-its and tells us what she does when she first hears that "gurgle-y noise" of hunger.
Would you also do me a favor? This Thursday night, 11 brave women will begin the online Releasity course and I'd love it if you would say a prayer for them whenever Releasity (or eating "just enough") crosses your mind. They'll explore the underlying causes of their overeating and call on God to fulfill his promise to heal them from going to food in excess.
